One of my favourite dishes from a hawker centre would be Bak Chor Mee – Springy Mee Kia noodles topped with Mushrooms and a mountain of Minced Pork. Many people have tried different ways to elevate this simple hawker dish, but have you heard of BCM topped with Ikura?

Minced Pork Bro is located at Old Airport Road Hawker Centre and they serve 4 different kinds of BCM. Let’s dive into the dishes they serve!
Classic Minced Pork Noodles
You can even choose to order a large bowl, which comes with additional ingredients such as dumping and deep-fried frits.
Teochew Modern Pork Noodles

The Teochew Modern Pork Noodles is a classic bowl of BCM with the addition of“modern” ingredients. It comes with Ajitsuke Tamago, a piece of Abalone and Teochew Style Meatball, this sure makes a bowl of BCM more interesting!
The gooey centre of the egg and Teochew Style Meatball sure adds texture to a bowl of BCM!
Seafood Minced Pork Noodles
Signature Mee Pok Tar with Superior Soup

They were not kidding when they said it comes with superior soup as there were many ingredients. The soup was served separately which made it very robust, flavourful and sweet. The sweetness must be due to the seafood present in the soup.

This dish is definitely worth every cent as the broth packs a punch with the strong seafood and pork taste which goes very well with the noodles.
Must Try Minced Pork Bros!
You should definitely head down to Minced Pork Bro if you want to try out an elevated version of BCM. Although I love a good bowl of traditional BCM, I wouldn’t mind heading down to Minced Meat Bros to get a little something compared to a usual bowl of BCM.
