The Tempest, a 55-foot-long tube and funnel slide that launches you down a 24-foot drop and sends you twirling around on a float, is one of the thrilling experiences. The float handles will undoubtedly come in handy when you spin rapidly in all directions on the slide.

The Valley Course, which is part of the Els Club, was rated the greatest golf course in the nation by the World Golf Awards. The Els Club also has the Ocean Course.

Experience the magical ambience with Fireflies in Kota Tinggi Firefly Park. You may take a boat down the Johor River and see hundreds of colorful fireflies entrancing the landscape. You may make your own lanterns here, which are reminiscent of Taiwan's Kongming lanterns. Write down all of your wishes on the lantern, then toss it into the air. You never know, it just may come true.

5. See these flightless birds run wild at Desaru Ostrich Farm

Here's a fun fact in case you missed your science classes in primary school: Ostriches lay the world's largest eggs & are the fastest running birds in the world. At the Desaru Ostrich Farm, which is home to more than 200 ostriches, you get to see these flightless birds run to their hearts content in a speed of light.
The tour guides will tell you all you need to know about these animals. Delicious meals are also provided, where you can sample omelette, bak kut teh, and even teppanyaki, all of which are themed around the ostrich.

6. Bask in the Sunny Desaru Beach

Bask in the sun, sea, salt and take a stroll on the Desaru Beach. A popular spot for beach picnics and other recreational activities. There is a lot of information on aquatic life here as well. While being guided by a local tour guide, you may see a variety of unusual species along the coast during low tide, including brittle stars and barnacles.
If you want to participate in some watersports, head to Desaru Beach. Dash Outdoors, a provider of exhilarating towing rides like the Banana Boat and water sports activities like stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking, has a location on the beach beside the Westin hotel.

Desaru is famous for its many beaches, but it also contains a vast mangrove and swamp environments that is home to a variety of animal species, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers.
One such location is Sedili, a fishing community located in a marsh 35 miles from the ocean. Visitors who are interested in going there can reserve a space on the Junglewalla Desaru Sedili Wetland River Cruise. You'll have the opportunity to explore three distinct kinds of local swamps and mangroves while capturing images of the local wildlife, such as kingfishers and an otter family.

Visit Sungai Rengit Jetty, an archeological site that currently serves as a wonderful setting for Instagram-worthy photos. A fishing community approximately an hour's drive from the metropolis is home to Sungai Rengi Jetty. While you're there, get a bite to eat at the neighboring Jade Garden Seafood Corner, where you can tuck into delicious fresh fish that will make the trip even more enjoyable.

10. Explore Tanjung Balau Fishermen Museum

Geology buffs may check out around 100 different types of rocks that were formerly from the area in addition to displays of fishing boats and equipment.
