First ever Doraemon exhibition outside of Japan to be hosted in Singapore in 2022

For the first time ever, a Doraemon exhibition is being held in Singapore.


I'm sure many of us are familiar with Doraemon as a cartoon character when we were younger! Do you know that there will be a Doraemon-themed exhibition coming up in Singapore soon? It will evoke nostalgia, especially for those who grew up watching Doraemon.

Visit The Doraemon Exhibition from 5 Nov 2022 - 5 Feb 2023 to discover internationally renowned contemporary Japanese artists such as Takashi Murakami, Mika Ninagawa, and Yoshitomo N's works inspired by Doraemon, one of Japan's most famous manga characters.

With paintings, sculptures, graphics, and photography, this exhibition features one-of-a-kind artworks that convey a variety of artists' perspectives on Japan's well-known icon Doraemon.

Featuring artworks from 28 Japanese Artist

Get a glimpse into what are some possible artworks that can be expected and brought over to Singapore from Japan, although it has yet to be confirmed.

There will be a gift store offering limited edition collectibles, Singapore-exclusives, and items from the Fujiko F Fujio Museum in Kawasaki, Kanagawa. Fans can definitely expect stationery, homeware, art prints, and snacks from the Japanese edition. As well as plushies, hopefully!

The exhibition will be held at the National Museum Of Singapore. Tickets for this first ever global exhibition outside of Japan will be available starting on 3 September 2022.
